My boyfriend’s dad is a retired undercover police detective and he has lots of funny gadgets that he used to use for covert operations. One day when my boyfriend and I were just hanging out we got a bored and decided to look through his dad’s old stuff. We came across a voice changer and started playing around with it.
We thought it was so cool to make our voices sound different and we wanted to test it out to see if people could recognize us. It was his idea to make some prank calls. The first call we made was to one of his buddies, and low and behold he didn’t recognize our voices. We never got to make anymore calls because his dad walked in on the end of the first one. Needless to say, he didn’t approve.
